ABI Partners: Partner Council

The ABI Partner Council is a working group that consists of all Institute partners. Purpose of the ABI Partner Council is to share partner gender findings, discuss and share partner initiatives, highlight best practices from within the sector, and provide a vehicle for Institute partners to help chart ABI’s current and future direction. Membership in the ABI Partner Council is limited to Institute Partners only, and offers:

  1. March and September meetings that include authoritative speakers on gender
  2. Quarterly Research Updates, including syntheses and key insights from the best academic research on promising or established organizational practices for attracting and retaining women in technology.; early advanced data from the Anita Borg Institute’s research project with Stanford University’s Clayman Institute on facilitators and barriers to the advancement of women in Technology; and other relevant data from, such as Stanford University, The National Council of Women in IT and the National Science Foundation.
  3. Pre-announcements of upcoming Institute events and resources, such as TechLeaders workshops and new resources available from our website or partner organizations, so that you can provide your technical women with greater opportunities for participation.
  4. Opportunities to influence and evaluate Institute events and programs.
  5. Opportunities for your PR/press organizations to include information about your women’s initiatives, programs, and events in ABI newsletters and on a Websuite dedicated to your company on the ABI website.
